Progress

I have lost 8 more lbs, for a total loss of 18 lbs in 4 weeks. I continue to run 2 miles a day 6 days a week and have added weight lifting to my regimen 3 days a week.

I am also rock climbing twice a week. That is probably the one area in my workout regime in which I can easily measure my progress. Since I started rock climbing about a year ago I've gone from being able to climb a 5.5 to successfully scaling a 5.7. If you don't climb this is meaningless, but one of my goals is to take off this 60 lb backpack that is weighing me down (ie: all this extra weight) and become a better rock climber.

Perhaps I will also someday be able to run a mile without wanting to die.
