Progress

I've lost 30 lbs total, which means I'm 1/3 of the way to my weight loss goal! I was reading Such a Pretty Fat by Jen Lancaster, and it really bothered me that while she monitored her progress, she never shared how much she weighed initially. Well, I began this weighing 230 lbs. Enormous. I am still enormous, but somewhat less so. I have 3 different short term weight loss goals; the first is to be under 200 lbs, which I am 1 lb away from. My second goal is to weigh less than my boyfriend, which will happen when I am under 175. My final goal will be to weigh 140, which was my minimum weight in high school. I will have to decide at that point if that is where I want to stop. According to this website, a woman of my height (5'4) is considered healthy between 120 and 140 lbs, and I do not have a waif-ish frame; we'll see.
